Callaway X-18 Iron Set User Reviews. Is the x18 series the one to get?

I had my eye on Callaway’s x-18 irons for some time before I added them to my collection. In my opinion, the Callaway x18 series is the best value you can get in an iron set.

The X-series Irons by Callaway Golf have been favored by pros worldwide because of the technology behind each iron. Many of the best players in the world favor these clubs because of the performance enhancing design of each club.

Coupled with great looks and an extremely forgiving iron, these clubs are favored by many recreational players as well.

The new X-18 and x18 Pro series irons combine the same patented technologies used in prior x series Callaway Irons models. This model sports a new head shape and size, but includes all the advancements of the older models.

This model comes in 3 different versions:

Callaway X-18 Iron Set w/ uniflex steel
Callaway X-18 Irons 3-PW w/ graphite
Callaway X-18 3-PW PRO SERIES STEEL

My overall review: Are they worth the money?

Out of my literally hundred or so clubs I own, the callaway x18 with uniflex steel putting wedge is one of the few clubs that has remained in my play set over the past couple years. This club is dead on everytime (partly due to my accuracy). I like this iron so much that it has sort of developed a personality in my head. You know what I mean – that club that feels like a mere extension to your arm after using it so long.

Best place to buy it

I suggest you buy your callaway clubs from Amazon. Yes, you can probably find a used club for cheaper online somewhere, but you have no idea what you are getting. I usually buy all my sets new from amazon for this reason.
